Installation of SimplexNumerica

The main installation is a standard windows procedure. Follow the dialogs and nothing should be going wrong (I hope so!).

Once installed, SimplexNumerica is added to the start menu, and a SimplexNumerica icon is added to the desktop. To run the program, double-click on the icon, or run it in the same way that you run your other applications from the start menu.

After SimplexNumerica runs, you will see a start-up dialog and after that the program windows.

System Requirements

The minimum hardware requirements are: CPU: Intel based (Pentium III or higher)
Memory: 1GB (or greater )
Available disk space: 60MB  (or more)

The minimum software requirements are: Operating System: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2003/2008 (or later )
Other software: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribution Package for MFC C++ DLLs.


Step 1 - Download the program from http://www.simplexnumerica.com

Anyone can freely download the SimplexNumerica Freeware Edition (simplex.zip).

Please unzip the compressed version, first. Before you can run SimplexNumerica, you must install it by running the Setup Program. Simple
double click on the icon <SimplexNumerica_setup.exe> or use the Run command, found by pressing the Windows Start button. You will be prompted for the name of the program you want to run.

Installation on the network
To install SimplexNumerica on a network, simply install it on the server in the normal way described above. For each client that will have access to the server, create a shortcut (or icon) for SimplexNumerica on the client system and run the program once. SimplexNumerica will install itself properly on the client system.
